Xander: Well.. The thing is... I think Riley is... okay, in an oafish kind of way.
Buffy: Riley just walked in.
Willow: Do ya want to let him know you're here?
Buffy: No. Just enjoying a good stare.

Riley: You don't have to do this.
Buffy: I know.
Riley: I mean, if you'd rather wait...
Buffy: I'm ready. I want to.
*They enter the mirror doorway to the initiative*

Buffy: You said it was big. You told me, but you never said it was huuge!
Riley: I don't like to brag.

Riley: I know she likes you. In fact, she liked you before I did.
Buffy: Really?
Riley: Told me so herself.
Buffy: What do you mean she liked me before you did?
Riley: Uh...
Buffy: You didn't like me?

Riley: Hey. What's the matter? Weren't expecting to see me?
Buffy: I never know what to expect.
